Project Description
Self-service Teacher Sign-up, Level Up Village
Teachers and decision makers can now sign up, select their classes, and pay
THE PROBLEM
Level Up Village (LUV) had just signed a contract for a very large, nationwide organization that have the company triple-digit growth.
The problem was that up until this point, the LUV customer success team spent their time manually creating teacher accounts, were taking payments from decision-makers over the phone, and only able to set up classes in a quasi admin panel.
The goal for this project was to create a sign-up experience that worked for both teachers and decision makers, regardless of the order each user type entered the sign-up process.

Results
Like many projects before it, this one had a lot of moving parts, a team that had never worked together (consisting of 4 full-stack developers, myself (UX Design and Product Management), and the head of customer success for LUV), as well as a very specific launch date in order to service this very large account the company was onboarding.
We were able to launch the new sign-up process and almost completely remove the hand holding to get a new teacher and school onto the LUV platform.
